Sell Us Your Books

Yes, we do buy books. We prefer antiquarian, rare and out-of-print titles, signed books, ephemera, original artworks and signed prints, but will look at most anything offered. And please remember-- Like all things (real estate, cars, antiques, etc.), the condition of your books largely determines their worth. It's always best to call first (though you don't have to) to prevent your having hauled that mountain of books to us just to discover they're common and pretty much worthless*.

What we do not buy is: Reader's Digests; National Geographics; Time-Life books; Magazines and Newspapers published after World War II, Encyclopedia sets, Romance paperbacks, and Comic books.

Payment for your books is very flexible. You can choose to be paid in cash, with in-store credits or gift cards (which never expire and provide an additional 10% above the cash offer) that can be transferred to a friend or family member, or via direct trades for other merchandise including artwork, collectibles or antiques, or any combination of the above.

(*We can direct you to our local charities that accept donations or in extreme cases to the recycling center where your unwanted books will be turned into new recycled paper products.)
