Photos Philadelphia PA:
Jack Howard Pubs. (The Cowboy Publisher)
1946.
Unbound.
Three pieces of music history, with Bill Haley in western garb during his early rockabilly days. The set includes- An original 8 by 10 inch black and white photograph of the Arizona Ramblers, with Bill Haley, Kitty O'Brien and others (as yet unidentified); An original 8 by 10 inch black and white photograph of Kitty O'Brien, nicely inscribed and signed by her to Sam Miller, the Hawaiian Guitarist; And the sheet music to the song "Do You Think Its Fair?", written by Kitty O'Brien, Gordon Sizemore, and Lew Mel. Condition: The photograph of the Arizona Ramblers is in fine condition and is in its original cardboard "stage" frame. The frame has numerous chips around the edges, but remains intact and very clean. The autographed Kitty O'Brien photo has a small edge tear near the lower left corner on the side, with a few faint creases, and holes in the margin at the center of the top and bottom from having been pinned-up at some time. The sheet music has the name S A Miller (most likely the Sam mentioned in Kitty's photo inscription) written on the upper right corner, with a large number 26 written at the top left. The edges have tears all around, with moderate wear to the edges as well. The interior is lightly tanned, but remains very clean. Very Good.
